Conservatives are sometimes called
The Silent Majority. This is because we are private individualists, and because we're so focused on work and family that we sometimes aren't aware of egregious legislative activity by our leaders. As a result of tuning out the legislative activities of Congress, we lost the 2006 and 2008 elections. However, we have become focused and energized since Obama was elected. We are ready to fight the
statists in the next two elections, and at every opportunity before and after the elections.
Let us be clear. We will also challenge Republicans who support a statist agenda, and those who are spendthrifts with our tax dollars. We will financially support and elect leaders who’s actions and words support the founding principles of our
Constitution. Believers in Kenynsian economics and growing government bureaucracies need not apply for leadership roles. Be prepared to feel the door at your backside.
Members of Conservative Conversations are encouraged to talk with friends, families, and the uninformed to recruit their support. It is incumbent upon us to demonstrate how spending is out of control, to name federal programs, departments, agencies, and political candidates that are wasteful or contrary to our values, and to champion political candidates who support our grassroots campaign for limited government.
Once you’ve joined Conservative Conversations, you can start your own groups, open a discussion to all members, post an event, or blog with your thoughts and news.
